What a little gem! The views from the tree house were incredible, and it was extremely private and serene. Everything was immaculate. The bathroom was gorgeous - the most beautiful views! Loved that there were motion sensor lights to guide you to the bathroom at night, which is a short walk away. The hosts were lovely, and made us feel very welcomed.

Amenities in the room were absolutely fabulous value for money. Compared to an Ibis hotel room, our room at the Talisman was 5 star for less money. We were blown away by the standard of the room and the quality of the inclusions.

We loved everything about this place. Stunning setting warm and private living spaces, spa and lovely garden. The owner gave us fresh oranges and told us to help ourselves if we wanted more. When it became dark while we were soaking in the spa they turned on the light for us. So thoughtful! We will definitely come back again.

    Omokoroa town was closeby and worth a visit.

    Omokoroa town was closeby and worth a visit. We had dinner at a Italian restaurant Alma on the beach. Delicious food and great views. It is a 30 min drive to Tauranga, but somewhat slow due to roadworks.

    It's quirky and basic but so relaxing and enjoyable.

    It's quirky and basic but so relaxing and enjoyable. There are the best outdoor showers we've ever used. A communal kitchen with all you need, and with indoor and outdoor tables. A communal caravan to sit and chat, charge up electricals, and a great wifi signal. All set in a beautiful garden with fabulous views and cheerful birdsong. We had good weather, which I'm sure helped, but we would go back.

    The host was so friendly and welcoming the accommodation was beautiful and could not have been cleaner. Breakfast was amazing with homegrown produce and a lovely choice of everything. Would highly recommend
