Amazing location. You cant beat dinner on the verandah looking out to the Sounds. It is such a relaxing place. Our fifth time at the Lodge and we hope to be back.

First overnight stop whilst walking Queen Charlotte track. Very beautiful spot with old style timber huts apropriate to location. Can recommend.

Outstanding friendly staff, they make you feel like home, and they make an incredible good pizza (we had the chicken plum - highly recommend) The place is really magical, you stay at the Fjord and can discover it kayaking, hiking or biking. If you're lucky you can see bioluminescent plankton glowing in the sea at night, beautiful stars and glow worms. You can watch the sunrise from the hot tup. It's a place to enjoy! You should stay there at least 2 days. The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't stay longer ;) If there would be an 11. Star, they would have earned it! ... And there is a chimney burning all day ... We had breakfast in front of it :)

The rooms are fully equipped. French Window look out on the beautiful harbour, and it is refreshing to look out at the sunrise in the morning. I really recommend this place.

It was a brief one night stop for us. Hosts were wonderful and good at communicating with our late check in time. The room is in their home and they are very welcoming and extremely kind. They gave us an exceptionally good home-made breakfast and sent us on our way with delicious extra home-made muffins.
