The cycle track is great, which goes along the beachfront, and is part of the Great Tasman Taste Trail. The shops are ok, lots of cafes and places to eat. Would especially recommend Simply Indian. The Sunday market is awesome. Motueka is the 'gateway' to Kaiteriteri and Golden Bay, including National Parks, and walkways (Abel Tasman Track and Heaphy Track).Guest review byDonnaNew Zealand - 10.0

It was central to where we stayed at the River Terrace Cottage as we could do some shopping at the supermarkets, variety of restaurants and retaiil shops for beautiful quality clothes. Do keep a eye out for honesty boxes along the roads where farmers put out their produces which you can buy and then just put the money in a box.
