Pedlars was beyond what we were expecting. The facilities were immaculate, staff friendly and helpful. We appreciated the extras in the room with a full kitchen. Heartily recommend Pedlars as value for money!

Very warm welcome as always, really comfortable units & always spotless which makes you feel comfortable & warm. Travelled for a sporting event and were making our way to Auckland. Stumbled across this perfect town and beautiful little motel. Quiet, clean, and staff waited up for our arrival as worried about us on the road. Cannot wait to travel to NZ North Island again and stay in Paeroa once again.

The hosts were so helpful. They live on site however it was very private and when we did see them they were respectful of privacy...but willing to help wherever possible. We got lost looking for the swimming hole so they took the time to show us how to get there. Nice touches like chilled water and jet planes. Warm welcoming and inviting.

We had the perfect weekend getaway! The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with a huge TV and an incredibly comfy bed. The hosts were so kind and made our stay truly special. It felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived – we couldn’t have asked for more!

The place is gorgeous and we were well looked after by the host. The room we booked wasn't available but the host upgraded us to the main house which was a much bigger room. The host is the loveliest lady and an exceptional cook!

    The food choices are fantastic, the people are friendly and helpful, it is central to a number of attractions if you like outdoorsy stuff for young and old, the Op Shops are some of the best you will find - the neighbouring towns are great too and so close.

    Born in Paeroa but left as a baby so now as an adult .. travel once a month to explore more of the place ..love the quirkiness of the place an the friendly locals.. 131 Restaurant so handy .. great food .. excellent staff

    Safe to walk to our restaurant at night.

    Safe to walk to our restaurant at night. Lots of choice for food. Very friendly people and loved the antique shops. Made the most of a closing down sale the owner was very kind and gave free hand made Angels to my kids.

    I liked the Country area the Motel was situated in . . It wasn't to far from the Town either . Also on the road I was travelling on . Only had to turn out the Gate and continue North to Pukekohe .

    There wasn't many attraction in Paeroa.

    There wasn't many attraction in Paeroa. We managed to visit their beach and hot mineral bath. in the area. Thankfully we had also found Paeroa Bed and Breakfast accomodation. The hosts' lovely place and their great hospitality (we get to visit their private garden) made the visit to Paeroa memorable.

    Paeroa has many things to offer, antique shops, nice cafes, bike rail trail It is only an hour drive to Tauranga, so makes a great location for daily excursions. The Karangahake gorge is a short distance away, good for walks and bike rides.

    Very good proximity to Paeroa township, 15 minutes walking distance, or a 2 minute drive. The hotel is quiet and tranquil with a semi rural outlook. Lots of potted conifer trees and some fruit trees add to the relaxing ambience. Furnishings and room was clean with modern decor. Outdoor BBQ/seating area is secluded from the road providing privacy. Manager/owner is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is also backed onto the owners property which adds extra security.

    Located very close to the beautiful Karangahake Gorge and walks and bike trail. Lovely place to chill and relax. Roshan and Tui showed us around their orchard and vegetable garden and plied us with fresh produce. This is not the place for you if you want slick 5 star hotel accomodation but if you enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful countryside and relaxed living then this is the place to book for a wonderful place to step back, unwind and escape the commotion of modern life.
