What a great place to spend a night while on the road! Not extremely flash but rock solid, comfortable and relaxed. Friendly locals made us feel very welcome in this tight little community.

Very pretty aesthetic of the place. I felt like I was in a cottage core style magazine. Everything was clean, the little flower garden in between the rooms/kitchen/bathroom is absolutely lovely, there is wifi, there is a TV, books to enjoy, a very nice kitchen, the bathrooms were the kind you enjoy having a shower in. There was noone else staying the night we went so it was very very nice but it would have been lovely anyway. There is also a very cute friendly cat called Taco, which was just the cherry on top. One of my favourite stays in NZ so far.

Absolutely stunning location, awesome views all around thanks to huge windows in every direction plus a 270° wrap-aroung-porch. This "humble abode" is luxuriously spacious and the whole place got very good vibes. The infos prepared by Candace, our hostess included not only things to do and the weather but also tide-times, stars visible during our stay and sunrise / sunset. I would definitely stay there again, but would try to stay longer, which I recommend to everyone. Three days is the minimum... The pantry and fridge were so well stocked that we didn't need to go grocery shopping. Did I mention the washing machine (lots of washing powder provided too) and the dryer?

Gordon messaged to ask if I needed any bread, milk or butter etc procured prior to my arrival. Most considerate. Breakfast was not included.
