Great experience, the tent was clean and nice, the food and drinks were decent and available day and night. Staff is really welcoming and helpful. Location is amazing, you're completely surrounded by dunes, and you're far from the main road, so it's the perfect desert experience.

The authentic look and feel of this experience was incredible. The host and his family were so welcoming and made us feel like we really experienced the desert. Unlike large camps where you feel like you are in a mass resort type setting this was so authentic, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

We had a wonderful time. We chose to spend one night here and one in a different kind of accommodation in Wahiba Sands and it was perfect that way, exploring different aspects and views of the desert. The drive is a bit adventurous, however we felt safe as we had a guide to reach the camp from Bidiyah who helped us when we got stuck with our car. The camp is truly on top of the dunes. If may not be the best one if you want to do lots of sand boarding as the individual dunes are not that high but the view is amazing. The food we had was one of the best in all our Oman trip!

The staff was very very helpful. Special thanks to Ruban, Sharik, Ishaque and Yugandhara! The camel tour was awesome. The drive to the camp is around 30 kilometers from the nearest town, however, don't worry, the road is unpaved but easy to drive. Just follow the electric posts. The facilities are awesome and I think this is the best camp located in the region. The stargazing guide was amazing and I learned so much!

I don’t have words to describe this experience. It was one of the best experiences of my life! I recommend 100% to go see the sunset (pack 1hour) to take a tour of the dunes, magic, no words to describe! And the quad bike activities it’s INCREDIBLE. They were very friendly during check-in. Separate from the resort, I had hired a private driver who attempted to extort me. Luckily I escaped the situation and a driver from the resort picked me up. Still, the driver continued to contact me asking for money and threatening to call the police. He even called the hotel several times. After explaining the situation the hotel staff were very understanding and helped to ward him off. Long story short, the staff will make you feel safe here! Anyway, they offer a range of fun cultural and physical activities to try. I did the Bedouin house tour, Sunset drive, Sand Boarding (highly recommend, good fun), and Camel ride. The food at the restaurant is good and portions are generous. The pool was nice and I wish I used it more.

Pros 1) Atmosphere, loved being out in the sands! 2) Experience, once in a lifetime - very unique. 4) Being under an amazing night star filled desert sky. No light pollution! 5) Good food. 6-10) The owner and staff. I severely twisted my ankle hiking a few hours before arrival and wasn't sure I would even be able to enjoy this opportunity. We had a late arrival to which the camp was understanding and accommodating. Then Saad to the rescue! He gently drove us (not to cause more pain in my foot) to the campsite after we parked at owner's house. Upon arrival got me and all our bags into the tent and let the staff know I couldn't walk. The staff on site was unbelievable and surprised us by delivering/clearing dinner and breakfast to/from the tent as I couldn't walk the distance to group dining. Next morning Saad picked us up to take us back to the owners house to get our vehicle. Helel, the owner was waiting to make sure we enjoyed our experience. When I asked for directions how to get crutches and have a doctor look at my foot, they insisted we follow Saad to hospital and pharmacy. The service was so good I'm surprise a doctor didn't do a tent call in the middle of the night to take care of me and magically heal my foot. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to a friend.

    Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.

    Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !
