Great place to stay for the first night of the salkantay hike. We had to change our booking to the following night due to a strike in Cusco and they didn’t have the room with the sky roof available so they put us in another private room instead and I actually liked this room way more. It had its own bathroom and you could see the mountain out the window while laying in bed. The bed was comfortable and warm. We got a hot shower included. Information about how to get there was sent to us after booking which was super helpful. Made the start of the hike super easy

Cabins were very cosy and had lots of blankets to stay warm. Dinner was very nice and portions were big. Host helped us book transport back to Cusco when we fell ill and gave us tea to help with sickness.

Salkantay starcamp is set in Anta. The campground has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. The property has an outdoor dining area. Guests at the campground can enjoy a continental breakfast.

Located 10 metres from the Machupicchu train station, Casa del Sol Machupicchu offers free Wi-Fi and free shuttle services from Machupicchu Train Station. The museum area is 500 metres away.

We had an amazing stay at Casa del Sol! The hotel team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even offered to meet us at the train station and show us where to buy tickets for Machu Picchu (though in our case, we already had someone helping us). As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted with a lovely surprise and a thoughtful compliment from the hosts. Our room was large, cozy, clean, beautiful, with a perfect view of the Urubamba river — truly stunning. We even had a pisco sour cocktail class and they have an amazing wellness zone! We stayed for two nights, and on the second day we visited Machu Picchu, where we got engaged! 💍When we returned to the hotel and the manager heard the news, they surprised us with cocktails, cake, and a warm message in Bulgarian — such a sweet and touching gesture that we will never forget. They truly made our engagement incredibly special, and without them it wouldn’t have been the same. Their kindness and attention to detail turned a wonderful moment into an unforgettable memory. The breakfast is amazing and if you dine at the hotel, you also get a 20% discount, and the food is absolutely delicious — highly recommended!

Edilberto was kind and helpful. The accommodation is close to the ticket offices and stations. The room was clean and comfortable for the night. The breakfast was quite hearty.

They pick me up at the train station but I can't find them and they send me whatsapp but my internet is weak there but finally i arrive to the hotel by myself. The staff is very helpfull and they pack my breakfast to give me at 5.30 and internet is good. The room is old fashion but all clean. Hot shower work well. All good.

Staff is soooo helpful with everything. Rooms are nice and clean. And the have balconies facing the mountains and trains. It was so cool. If u can’t sleep with a pit of noise ask for quieter room but the noise is worth of view. Breakfast is good They hold your bags for free even after you have checked out.
