    Daet was very interesting with lovely, kind, local residents...

    Daet was very interesting with lovely, kind, local residents. We went there to visit my partner's family and that went off well. Very interesting to see the First/Third World contrast. The SM Daet mall is excellent and well covered for all shopping needs. Unoftunately, coming from western Canada, I have a very low tolerance for heat. But, all buildings we went into had effective aircon.
