Our first time to this area and we were really taken by everything about it - the scenery is immense, the people so friendly, the food and drink very good and excellent value for money. Bukowina is an unusually crowded Polish village near the Tatra mountains. It has great views of Slovak High Tatras, and if you like to wander, ride or drive around - you'll find some marvellous viewpoints. It's definitely not a good place if you want a peaceful stay within hotel premises. Not great for gourmet food lovers either.
