FAQs about hotels in Wrocław

Vibrant Mix of Culture and History

Stretched along the Oder River in south-west Poland, Wroclaw still remains a relatively undiscovered gem. The city’s stunning architecture, its vibrant cultural scene and popular events have something for everyone.

Severely destroyed in 1945, Wroclaw was beautifully restored and became one of the country’s highlights. Its Old Town, with one of the largest town squares in Europe, attracts tourists with colourful town houses, cosy pubs and street stalls.

Make sure to visit the Ostrow Tumski, known also as the Cathedral Island, featuring the impressive Wroclaw Cathedral from the mid-10th century and romantic cobble-stoned streets with oil lamps hand-lit every night. Alternatively, see a famous 360-degree view painting of the Battle of Raclawice - the Raclawice Panorama.

For a breath of fresh air, take a walk in the Szczytnicki Park where the famous Japanese Garden, a remainder from the World Expo held in Wroclaw in 1913, awaits you with its contemplative and quiet atmosphere. This is a great spot to relax before hitting the popular bars and clubs in the city centre.

If you arrive at Wroclaw International Airport, all major attractions are just a short bus ride away. Whether you're looking for a stylish hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly hostel, Booking.com has something perfect for your Wroclaw holiday!

This is the 10th city I’ve visited in Poland, and like the others, it has its own unique charm. I really enjoyed my stay here and wished I could have stayed a few more days. I will definitely revisit in the future.

A truly stunning city, the atmosphere is incredible and we felt absolutely safe at all times. Prices are as expected higher in restaurants around the main square and close to tourists attractions, however, the bars offer incredible traditional food at a reasonable price. The churches are lavishly decorated to a high standard as is the tradition in Poland, also there are many museums to visit. Be sure to visit the murial, the island of churches and also stay until dusk to see the only gas lamp lighter left in europe, his name is Robert and he's being doing this every evening and morning for the last 16 years. Other attractions are river cruises and the tour of the city in one of the electric mini buses. Ohhhhhh and the gnomes too, over a hundred dotted around the city, children can get a sticker book to record each one they find. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Wroclaw is a charming lesser known Polish city bursting with colour, history and creativity. Often called the "Venice of Poland" it's spread across 12 islands, connected by over 100 bridges. If you're into architecture, quirky streets, fantastic choices of food, Wroclaw offers something unique. Around the city hundreds of tiny bronze Dwarfs can be found, each with their own story and personality. Old town market squares surrounded by colourful townhouses an ideal place to sit and relax with a beer and people watch. Cobbled streets, churches, cathedrals, UNESCO listed buildings can all be visited very easily by walking, trams, buses which are efficient and cheap. A friendly city, with a safe relaxed vibe.

A very beautiful city that can easily be explored on foot - the main square and surrounding areas were very vibrant and full of interesting buildings and great places to eat and drink. The architecture in the city - particularly in the main square and Cathedral area were stunning.

Stunning historical city full of cathedrals, beautiful architecture and museums. But highly modern and efficient public transport system. The riverside walks are lovely. Locals very friendly, and Poland is an excellent value country for a short stay. I could have stayed another 2 days quite easily. As a bonus, the city is immaculately clean. And I would particularly recommend Cathedral Island and the old University with its stunning Baroque halls and views from the Mathematical Tower!

This is a top class accommodation for an amazing price. We managed to check in before advised hour and sorted over the phone problem with entrance code. Thank you for that! Inside everything felt great quality and it was thought to details. Room was quite spacious and bed with quality hard mattresses, good for our backs. Was quiet enough and very central too. In opposite restaurant Hubertus we had some of the best polish food we tried on our trip in Poland. We would def come back and recommend this place.

Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,083 reviews
The hotel is located on the bank of Odra River, close to the history old town (~750 m), right in form of beautiful park on island filled with places to sit and boat restaurants. There is a spacious ground parking as well as underground parking. The breakfast in the hotel is outstanding. I also recommend their Żurek (arguably the best version I have ever had). The stuff is very kind and helpful.

The spa is wonderful in every way and the food surpassed all expectations. It is Michelin stat quality. As a travel writer, I have been to some of the finest hotels worldwide. This measures up. Well done Poland!
