Helpful friendly staff, pool was fantastic and room was fine. The pool surrounding was very beautiful overlooking the river. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Location was close enough to the center of town to walk.

Great location, far out, but in 20 minutes at the coast and the next town Extremely quiet and perfect for a few relaxing days. Xana and Miguel have been such wonderful hosts, always available if you have any needs, but still 100% privacy. We would love to come back in the near future

The hotel is a beautiful place to retire and enjoy the warm weather and the incredible landscape. Absolutely remarkable. We leave Natur Amêndoa with full hearts, having found a true slice of paradise — a place to pause, breathe, and listen to the pure sounds of nature. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful owners. Laura, in particular, has a magnetic presence and an incredible gift for hosting — you feel as though you’ve known her for years. Everything reflects their dedication: the thoughtful details, the care poured into every corner, and the evident pride in their entrepreneurial journey. There’s a deep joy in how they share their local heritage with guests. And the view — THE VIEW! What a gift to wake up surrounded by the gentle embrace of nature’s hills. Breakfast is also a plus, and you can tell how much care Laura puts into preparing it every morning. It’s served in a long table, a chance to have a little morning chat with the owners and other guests. The location is perfect — remote, yes, but isn’t that the point? A heartfelt thank you to Laura and Matias. We wish you nothing but the best and congratulate you on creating such a warm and soulful haven.

Everything was perfect. Rooms are very comfortable and quite with facilities needed. The farm vibe was a plus with lots of animals and friendly dogs and cats that we play with! Staff was also very effective and efficient!

    Alcoutim is a beautiful town, very friendly and calm.

    Alcoutim is a beautiful town, very friendly and calm. We ate at restaurants BH and O Contrabandista which were both exceptional. You can take a small boat 5 minutes across the river to Spain to another small town. There is a cool zip wire for 20 euros which crosses the border back to Portugal. There is lots of 14th century history in both towns. Legend says it’s a place where contraband was smuggled during battles. The overall peacefulness of the place is very relaxing and pleasant.

    The hotel was very clean, the room pleasant but small, very quiet and peaceful excellent for chilling out. Not a lot to see, restricted in restaurants, trip to Spain via the small ferry interesting, but again very little to see. Surrounding area worth a visit

    The hotel is set in a quiet location and has great views...

    The hotel is set in a quiet location and has great views across the river (Spain is on the other side). The town of Alcoutim has good restaurants within walking distance ( 10 to 15 minutes). The hotel seems to attract Portuguese families with young children so the pool was always busy and noisy. The town has a small ferry boat to take you to the other side or take you on trips up and down the river (30 minutes or 1 hour for 7.50 euros or 15 euros respectively). There is also a river beach nearby but we did not use it. There are canoes, kayaks and jet-skis to hire very close to the hotel. The hotel room does not provide tea/coffee-making facilities. When we asked for a kettle they said they only had one which they needed for breakfast.

    Alcoutim is a place good for rest and have some activities. Near to Algarve beaches and near to Spain is a nice place to stay, but Managers should pay more atention and be able to do more to increase the profits.

    A nice little village in the inner part of Algarve, close to the Spanish border. There isn't much to do there, but if you are looking for a place to get some rest away from everything, you will find it in Alcoutim. It gets HOT on Summer days, locals said it also gets COLD in Winter. There are some monuments worth a visit, there are a handful of restaurants, there are some river activities. There is only a very small groceries shop, there are no supermarkets.

    I adore everything in this small lovely village: the people, the food, all the surroundings! Excellent if you want get away from a busy city. 😍 And this hotel is amazing for it. The staff is very friendly. It's very clean and it smells like a Spa🥰

    We enjoyed the location of the hotel being only a short walk from the town centre. Also the bar and restaurant was excellent and convenient. The staff were friendly and obliging. The free car parking was appreciated.
