What a gem! In a place ouside a small village we foud this fantastic oasis. So elegantly built with spacious bungalows overlooking a small lake. Total silence. Nice view of the countryside. We loved it! Breakfast served at your doodstep in a nice basket.

    Almodóvar is a lovely village not too touristic, its rather...

    Almodóvar is a lovely village not too touristic, its rather a place where people live and also very close to Algarve. It has all amenities from health services to supermarkets, cinema, municipal pool and great restaurants and cafes with the delicious traditional costas and folhados de gila. It has a beautiful church and convent, a museum, a dam and a beautiful view point at the Ermida de St Amaro where there is always a lovely breeze. A great place for a few days of quiet time.

    Small little town in Alentejo, perfect to visit during the day or for a night stay. We loved to eat at TASQUINHA O MEDRONHO for dinner, breakfast at Sarita and pls stop for bread at Boutique do Pão Quente
