Really cosy place to stay. The village seemed almost derelict at first, but it was just a few buildings. It is on a hilltop, with fantastic views for 20-30 miles in all directions. The fire was lit in the living room when we arrived, They even had an honesty bar, we didn't need it, but it was appreciated.

Everything perfect, very clean and nice. We went during the week and it was almost empty, maybe that's why I found it very quiet, the room was perhaps the best of all, it was in a corner, excellent as you can see in the photos. The bathroom was also very big. The dining room terrace, we could not use it because it was cold and neither could we use it for breakfast because it was raining, but in good weather, it must be wonderful to be on it. The buffet breakfast was good. Highly recommended for visiting the area, or the museum.

    A very friendly and cosy place to stay in a small village.

    A very friendly and cosy place to stay in a small village. Make sure you bring all the food you will need as there doesn't appear to be a village shop. Rustic rooms with stone walls and lots of decorations, this is definitely not a minimalist 'Premier Inn' style location. I loved it.
