It’s a wonderful place - spacious, bright, comfortable, tastefully restored and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Anna is the loveliest host and we had a fantastic stay with her. Breakfast was the best we’ve had on our travels. If you are in the area, you should absolutely stay in ‘On the way’!

Great stay on our Camino. Very clean and fully equipped kitchen! There were toiletries if you need in the room and water bottles as well. Tea and coffee options In the kitchen area. Really lovely stay. There is a minimarket 1 min walk from the location. We stayed one night

Great place to stay after doing my 1st day of the Camino. Super friendly staff, the room was really clean, and great to have a curtain around the bed for some privacy. Very good facilities, and just a 5 min walk to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything, it was an amazing experience overall. The team was great in everything we required. Was an excellent stay. The location is beautiful, we could see the sea through the window. The restaurant was divine and the spa was so relaxing and I wish I had spend more days there. Will definitely be back.

Excellent position near the beach and restaurants and right on the Camino trail. The room and bed were comfortable and it was a treat to have a bubble bath and soak my tired muscles. The buffet breakfast was a bonus and the price was quite cheap.

    We have absolutely fallen in love with Mindelo, not touristy at all, has a rustic charm, the coastline is stunning, a place to explore, relax and recharge....the food/restaurants in the area are affordable and delicious! The fish and seafood and local dishes alone are a reason to keep coming back....
