    This place gets a well-deserved 5 stars—no doubt about it! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, cozy, and totally like home. It’s huge, sparkling clean, and honestly… it looks even better than in the photos (and that’s saying something!). Usually with apartments that look this good, you think: “Yeah right, too good to be true.” But nope—this one actually turned out to be better than too good! It’s got everything. And I mean everything: coffee machine, iron, washing machine, dishwasher… you name it, it’s there—and all in tip-top shape. We were just the two of us, but there’s more than enough space for 4 or even 6 people to hang out comfortably. And the view… wow. Just wow. Need a room with a view? Look no further—this is the one!

    Hotel is in a very nice location in forest.

    Hotel is in a very nice location in forest. Also close to some nice restaurants. The hotel room was bug enough and sufficient foe us. We like the bar area where we had 2 bottles of wine before supper

    Not much to do, in my opinion there are much nicer places to...

    Not much to do, in my opinion there are much nicer places to visit. Nicer beaches with warmer water. Parking is a huge problem and the locals do not like even trying to communicate in English. I guess it depends what you like. Would definately rather visit Al Garve.

    Very clean, friendly area with plenty options for food, shops, supermarkets, all within walking distance. the beach front is excellent. Bar Nautico, Albtroz and Taberna Londrino all do excellent food and reasonable prices. try the Francisinhas. it was a new experience for me and I loved it!

    Póvoa de Varzim is well placed for visiting the area of Vila...

    Póvoa de Varzim is well placed for visiting the area of Vila do Conde and even Porto which is about 20 km away. Further north there are lovely beaches eg Púlia. And a surf schoool in Estela. It is on the pilgrims route to Compostela.

    Quiet city. Nice beaches with nice promenads. Apart from that, a very "dead" city. To the point where we had to go to the Casino to see and do something. And the Casino was pretty bad as well. Might be good for families, but not if you look for good food, bars, museums or culture. Boring

    We have now stayed in four hotels on the Camino and this disappointed even though the most expensive. The room was tired looking with a patio door that didn’t open properly. The breakfast was the worst breakfast we have ever had with limited options, food was dry, one very diluted fruit juice and the other liquid containers were empty. The staff were very nice though and the location was stunning.

    Hospitality was amazing. The place is a true gem. Incredible nice! Wow wow wow. Close to the beach (maybe 3 minutes walking) close to 2 small supermarkets, bakery, restaurant. Within 10 minutes by car to Póvoa station, train takes you to downtown Porto in 50 minutes!
