The place is in a beautiful location, with a breathtaking view, a spacious garden and private parking. The accommodation was clean spotless, and everything in the house was in working order. Kiki and Jurgen are a very cheerful, warm and welcoming couple, and we really felt like they went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. All in all I could not recommend them enough, we’ve had a wonderful experience!

Everything starting with: -the unparalleled location -the beach at the resort -quiet and relaxing accommodation (we had the room with the private pool) -hearing the ocean in the evening from our patio -the restaurant vibe and the food -the cool beach bar This was our 2nd stay at this resort after we spent out honeymoon here back in 2018. Overall we found the place better than the 1st time. This says a lot as we loved it the 1st time around as well.

Fantastic hotel, with all the facilities as listed at booking. Our room was spacious, with a beautiful view of the Atlantic. Sleeping with terrace doors open, listening to the ocean waves all night was a beautiful experience. Hotel staff is very kind and professional. Breakfast is delicious, with many options. Spa is clean and not busy.

It really was an amazing experience. We stayed for the whole trip here and it is a great location to explore the island and then come back in the evening. Lots of parking places outside no need to cramp in the small streets of the center. It had a very nice pool on the rooftop.

We loved this hotel. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help, everyone is very sincere. If you are looking for a place of peace to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, then this hotel is perfect. Wonderful garden, pool in a pineapple greenhouse. There was also a pretty good Japanese restaurant on the roof of the hotel. Loved the design of the hotel with lots of small details.

This hotel is a design jewel located almost halfway between Ponta Delgada and Lagoa, hence perfect for day excursions in São Miguel island. What makes this hotel so special is the meticulous and design-conscious use of local materials in a rough way (wabi-sabi). Everything in this hotel has high quality, the materials and the food to mention a few. What I liked the most in this hotel is the professionalism of the staff, yet so uncomplicated, light and easy-going. The room service was exceptionally good. Even the trainee at the reception, although in her third day, was doing great. General Manager Joao Almeida, congratulations for the great job training your team and providing your guests with the best service possible. The room was spacy, the beds comfortable. The pool is not heated but there is a heated Jacuzzi which I used every night before going to bed. That wasn't a problem for me. This hotel is one of the best I ever had and by far the best one I had in the Azores.

Just excellent, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The room is amazing, all new, with a huge bed, super clean, with a very nice balcony with views to the pool and the palm trees. A little paradise. There are cookies, tea, coffee and a fridge in the room. The staff is very friendly and polite. Free parking and amazing breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere. Very good location just 15 min from Ponta Delgada and around 30 min to all the best places of the island. I couldn't have asked for more!

    A traditional Azorean town that wasn’t at all touristy.

    A traditional Azorean town that wasn’t at all touristy. Well located for the best beach on the island at Santa Barbara beach. The restaurant there is good for drinks and bar food as is the Beach Bar at the Eco hotel further along the beach. Good location for exploring both the west and east of the island away from the tourist hot spots. Great walks around Nordeste, Furnas and Salto do Cabrito and of course Sete Cidades which is spectacular. Be aware if you want to see Lagoa Fodo you have to park and travel up by coach between 9.00 and 19.00.

    The island of São Miguel is absolutely gorgeous!

    The island of São Miguel is absolutely gorgeous! So much to do, people are super friendly, great restaurants. Every drive in this island is breathtaking! Highly recommended. This property in Rabo de Peixe was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating. The owner is a wonderful man.
