Exceptional host, apartment was an amazing use of a small space. Had everything you need & amazing attending to detail. Breakfast....WOW.... above a beyond Only negative was the bed was too hard for me, but others might life a hard bed. Thankyou for everything.... highly recommended

Very nice hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, and the dinning hall itself is really nice with a great view to the garden. We had an overnight stay as a starting point to our journey to Douro valley after arrived from Lisbon, and it was perfect for us.

A wonderful place to stay and visit the beautiful city of Viseu! Everything was perfect, highly recommend! The hotel is family run and they couldn’t have been friendlier! It only has 7 rooms so I hope whoever is reading this manages to find a room😉

Absolutely everything ! A wonderful story of a lovingly, tastefully restored family property. I don’t have enough words of praise from our welcome to Bruno’s personal wine tasting and owner Sonia’s genuine warmth. It is nothing short of magnificent … just go I say.     Excellent in every way.

    Excellent in every way. An extraordinary place Santar which the mud rental gave us a unique opportunity to engage and even feel part of. Staff is exceptional and house wonderful though a little dark. Will return!
