I recently had my wedding ceremony at this hotel and it is THE BEST. Such a wonderful, gorgeous location on the Douro river. Nice outdoor bar/restaurant and pool lounge area. Easy to grab a boat ride or arrange visits to quintas in the area. Staff work around the clock to make the place comfortable and accomodating. The food is great. Can't recommend it enough!

Magical place - calm and very welcoming. The house is beautiful and even nicer than on picture, spacious and clean, the ambiance is relaxing and artistic, the hosts, Maria and her mother - are the best part - welcoming, attentive, helpful and kind. The nature around is amazing. 1 hour drive from Porto, easy to get and to find. Delicious breakfast!

Amazing location with incredible view. House was super comfortable and well equipped. Nuno was an amazing host and provided us with great recommendations for the area as well as practical advice for when we spent the day in Porto. Very modern and clean. Linda who prepared breakfast was a super star.

Everything. Charming farm style house with all modern equipment. All rooms were extremely confortable. Manuel and Luz were very nice and eager to make our stay enjoyable. Luz’s welcome cake was excellent…superb panoramic view. Nice Bbq area, refreshing pool and charming patio.

Incredible house-museum ! It’s full of art, antiques furniture and incredible views. The stuff was so friendly and helpful ! Sandra and her husband helped us with bbq and were very kind with us ! Thanks a lot for this! You can spend a full day not going out from the place , because it has wonderful swimming pool with the view to beautiful mountains, pink-pong , amazing room with billiard and nice terrace for taking a wine from Douro . A lot of cats and dogs in the area, which was very pleasant compony for us ! ))) For sure, we will come back again and will remind this place for our friends ! Thanks a lot for 3 days of peach and great vibes of the place!

    We stayed for a short period of time, but we stayed in a great place (Cerrado dos Outeirinhos) and the host recommened a restaurant that is right next to the place and was amazing. Delicious food, huge portions and super fair price.

    We were only passing through and not staying directly in the town. There are some good walks available in the area and also seems popular with cyclist. It is hilly and you need some level of fitness. Beautiful scenery and well worth seeing. We ate at the hotel which was tasty tradition Portuguese food

    The setting is magnificent, the house and rooms are beautifully decorated with good taste. You feel both at home and in a hotel. The breakfast is just incredible, homemade, and Maria is lovely. Our dog was also welcome. Honestly, it was a great stay :)

    Beautifully restored old house in the middle of Cinfaes with lots of fascinating objects which are part of the building’s history. Breakfast included delicious homemade jams and fruits grown on the family farm. Rooms were extremely clean.
