We were looking for a hotel to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was important for us to find a pet-friendly place. We came across this hotel and immediately loved how it looked in the photos. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised — everything was even more beautiful, stylish, and authentic than we had imagined. We were so impressed by the quality: the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bed linens were luxurious, everything felt like a true five-star experience. The towels were large and fluffy, and there were cozy blankets thoughtfully placed for guests to wrap themselves up while enjoying the balcony. They even provided sun hats for strolls through the vineyards — such attention to detail made everything feel so special. Waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning was pure magic. It brought back nostalgic memories of childhood visits to our grandmother’s house in the countryside — so peaceful and heartwarming. One of the highlights of our stay was the authentic family dining room. Leonor shared a bit of its history with us, showing us portraits of her grandparents who once owned this quinta. It felt like such an honor to have breakfast in that room, gathered around one big table with other guests, like one big family — it was truly a unique and lovely experience. We left feeling completely recharged, having explored the beautiful surrounding areas as well. Leonor even sent us a thoughtfully prepared PDF with recommendations for sightseeing, lunch, dinner, and some local history, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We are incredibly grateful for this experience — it was everything we hoped for and more!

i loved staying at Quinta da Roda for a couple of reasons. It's located in the "middle of nowhere," and I loved how getting there itself was an adventure. You'll love the drive up there, it's so beautiful! also the staffs. it's a family run business so from checking in to welcome tea and homemade snacks, it's handled with care and you can tell. Very friendly, attentive. the room was neat, spotlessly clean as well. highly recommend staying here if you're around Peneda Gerês National Park.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the villa was simply perfect! 🏡✨ The location is fantastic – right by the river, with easy access to a lovely, peaceful picnic spot. The hosts welcomed us with a big smile and outstanding service, including a detailed briefing about special places to visit in the area – thanks to them, we discovered local gems we would have never found on our own. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and sparkling, with a warm and inviting homey feel. We enjoyed every moment and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality getaway. 🙏😊

    We loved the Casinhas da Levada so much.

    We loved the Casinhas da Levada so much. Sergio could not do enough to help us. The house was immaculate indoors and out. We loved the village setting and the ambiance. Old and new melded in the best possible way. The peace and quiet and rural surroundings were wonderful.
