The staff were fantastic. We were looked after by Ellie first who was kind and very helpful then by Cristiana (aka Rainbow) who was great company and very helpful. All the staff were just great. The hotel of ice is beautiful and very special. Rooms were well designed, well made and totally iconic. We were able to choose which room was best and had the facilities of the nearby chalet as needed. The food in the evening at the ice hotel was wonderful (really really delicious and well priced). The novelty of this hotel is wonderful. It was romantic, fun and just beautiful. We will absolutely visit again. The meal was the best value for the quality given. The service was excellent by all standards.

This place is one of my favourites. We came to stay here to start in the morning driving to Transfagarasan. I wished to stay longer. Mr Ali welcomed us and gave infos about the house. The house is located directly to a stream, which is wonderful. The house has a big garden with sitting and dining places. So you are directly in the nature. The rooms are small, but it doesnt matter, because the bath is spacious and you will use a commune kitchen downstairs in where you will find everything + a big fridge, big dining table, lounge and a bar. We ate for dinner and for breakfast in front of the stream. Thank you very much for this nice experience.

The house was really clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. The host is amazing! 🙌🏻 She was making sure we feel at home. The lot has three houses and is secluded with a road on one side of the lot and a small river on the other. There is an outside kitchen with all that one needs.

Andrei was an excellent host. Even though she couldn’t speak English, she always managed to communicate with us, she was very helpful the whole time. The apartment is amazing. New, very clean. There is parking space available. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. There is a kitchen, and it is full equipped.

    Unfortunately, we arrived late at night, but the staff welcomed us even after check-in hours — thank you so much! The hotel is located in the forest next to a small river, so you can really feel the breath of nature. The beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the location is perfect to start a trip on the Transfăgărășan road.

    Fantastic location and views of the lake from the hotel. Great base for walking/trekking or just (as we wanted) for a night in the mountains. We saw a wild bear, and fox, while there, which was very exciting. Decent evening meal (trout) in the restaurant.

    My host Mario was excellent, always making sure I was comfortable. He gave me all the tips needed to avoid the coldness and advice on what to do at the top of the mountain. The hotel was pretty cool, lots of work go into it, you can notice it.
