Staff was very helpful. As my wife is claustrophobic, they managed to reorganize our room and position us on the first floor. All that in the situation where the hotel was fully booked.

Super friendly, engaged and helpful staff! Good breakfast with some positions changing day-to-day. Perfect location - lots of POIs within walking distance, a grocery store in a nearby building. Super clean and well-equipped rooms. Parking is included, which is otherwise a pricy/complex enough thing in this part of Belgrade. Historical building, which has its cons and pros, but wasn't anyhow a problem for us, rather a bonus. You can open the windows, which is a unique perk :). It was noisy due to protests/police, and we couldn't get to the hotel due to police blocking streets, but it's not anyhow hotel's issue, rather the opposite, the hotel staff was helping us, trying to help get us closer to the hotel.

Belgrade is beautiful and has so much history and the locals are very pleasant and welcoming. I enjoyed my walks along the knez Mihailova street, so beautiful and majestic. Belgrade is indeed a beautiful city. There's a Dino park at the kalemegdan fortress,it's perfect for kids. There's a small entrance fee. Lots of restaurants and cafes, everything you need in one place.

The city is not the most picturesque. That said, there are many lovely old buildings and tree-lined streets with cool cafes. It was very pleasant to walk around and just live the experience, (as opposed to having specific must see sights to go to).

The city has many faces: tourist centre, cozy areas, modern skyscrapers, small houses, brutalist panel buildings, etc. You can find your own place in Belgrade you will really enjoy -- just keep searching. Belgrade is full of bakeries, cafes, restaurants, museums, and atmospheric old houses. The negative sides are: lots of trash, graffitis, chaotic parking, heavy traffic, and smoking (it's allowed everywhere, including cafes).

Belgrade is a beautiful international city.

Belgrade is a beautiful international city. Mixed architecture: Eastern European, Western and eclectic, there is everything you can dream of. Good restaurants, good food, a pedestrian street, a market, a long riverbank with many activities, shopping centers, an ancient fortress from which to view the landscape and much more.Public transportation in the city is free. Kind and hospitable people. And you can go on amazing nature trips outside the city. We highly recommend it.

It is a city with very rich history and old parts with good traditional restaurants, but at the same time it is a modern city with buildings that sometimes seemed as if I was in Dubai. You can walk in the city, in the parks or by the Danube all the way to Zemun. Nightlife is very rich, especially for the young, and you can find all kinds of clubs and music to your liking. In the summer you can bathe in the Danube at the famous river beaches. For those who have never been, it is worth visiting (and I always gladly return).

People smoking is a huge problem, thanks to American Tobacco, and we were advised 60% and more were hooked. Honestly you couldn't get away from it on the streets, in restaurants, hotels, everywhere, but thankfully not in our apartment block, though there were smokers on the footpath outside. There needs to be a huge public health and public education campaign, and the government needs to resist the tobacco taxes and money from lobby groups to concentrate on the health and welfare of its people. Otherwise there will be huge consequences, including the costs for health and social care.

It was our second trip to Serbia and I’m glad that we rented that flat. The first time we stopped at the hotel and we paid more money for a less convenient accommodation. The flat was definitely value for money. The host was helpful and welcoming. The flat was very clean and convenient (don’t be put off by the look of the old building). We didn’t cook but as I noticed all the necessary kitchen utensils and cookware were in place. Basically the flat was equipped with all necessary stuff for a convenient stay.

One of the best booking stays I’ve ever had. The host was super communicative and helpful, they welcomed us at the apartment to show around and pass the keys. The place is super new and pristine clean. Beds were very comfy and the room spacious. Jacuzzi and sauna were wonderful addons after the long days of walking and exploring Belgrade. The view is stunning. I love the surroundings but it’s not for everyone but surely for any brutalism and architecture lovers. Top!

All the guests were super friendly and I am beyond grateful to Milos, Mia and Moncho for a great connection- talking about Serbia, giving me useful tips and spending time together! I had an amazing time. The hostel is clean, cozy and very central. I can’t recommend Che Hostel enough. If you are in Belgrade definitely stay here! <3

Nice hotel, in an exceptional location, in one of the most beautiful parts of Belgrade, near the Temple of Saint Sava, largest Orthodox church in Serbia, one of the largest Eastern Orthodox churches and among the largest churches in the world. An extremely pleasant stay, which was contributed to by the fantastic and very cordial attitude of the entire hotel staff.
