The place feels like home, the home cooked food is amazing and the hosts are welcoming, kind and helpful in every way. There is a kitchen where you could cook your own meals, but I highly recommend getting the meals there. The host speaks English and you can pay with Euros. You have a direct view on the river from the rooms balconies.

Amazing place in the perfect location for visiting the canyon. Everything was incredibly clean and prepared with such attention to detail — the cabin has things you wouldn’t even expect, all to make your stay more comfortable. The hosts are wonderful, always ready to help and truly caring about their guests. You can see how much effort and heart they have put into making sure visitors feel comfortable and at home. The chalet has 2 rooms, a bathroom and a terrace with a view - it basically feels like in a premium hotel room (incl. breakfast served in the chalet), but rather than in a hotel all around is just nature, perfect silence and a wonderful view on the river. Ideal for a couple, but suitable also for a small family - living room is big and features a sofa bed. There is also complete privacy - owners are in a different house, 50 meters away (and 20 meters below). Last but not least, the owner is very kind and helpful. Note: This review features the standalone chalet, I am not able to comment on the neighboring house.

    We saw around 30 rare species vultures flying over the viewpoints and across the river, so you can imagine what a sight it was! Had we stayed more, we would have gone fishing for sure as plenty of fish could be seen right from a pedestrian bridge nearby
