I spent wonderful time in Mokra Gora for 2 days and the challet was amazing, very very clean and well equipped for my everyday needs. The host is an amazing lady, willling to hellp and provide best services. Communication is easy with the host and she even hellped me to find a “taxi service “ from a local driver to bring me from Zlatibor to Mokra Gora and to Visegrad 2 days later. I definetely recommend this house.

This has probably been the best and most relaxing stay that I can remember. (This apartment comfortably accommodates a whole family, so as a solo traveller I was spoilt!) The property is absolutely beautiful, and has everything you could need. Despite my ability to speak only a few words of Serbian, the owner and her son made sure I was cared for. Coffee and apples in the room, all necessary cooking utensils, etc: they even arranged a taxi for me when I left. I came here to ride the Šarganska Osmica, but never expected the beautiful surroundings. Bonus detail: when you wake up, three of the cutest kittens and their Mum are dozing outside….aaah…

We stayed at this wonderful house for three days and absolutely loved it. The host was extremely kind, open, and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. The house itself was brand new and built in a beautiful, traditional Serbian style. Everything inside was handmade by the host with great care, and it felt like the house was created not just for renting out, but truly for himself – and that personal touch made all the difference. The location was simply perfect, with breathtaking views from the house that we couldn’t get enough of. Everything about the stay felt warm and authentic, and we are very grateful for the hospitality. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely amazing stay! 🌟 The house is in a stunning location — just a few minutes from the main road, yet so peaceful and quiet. Everything was perfectly clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was spotless, and the view was simply breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond — even coming in the evening to light the fireplace or prepare the jacuzzi so everything was just perfect. Another highlight was the food! Two meals a day are included in the price, served at the hotel across the road from a menu. Generous portions, delicious flavors, and a true homemade touch. We loved every moment — highly recommended! 💛

We really liked the apartment Matija. The location is excellent - it is not directly on the main road, but it is easily accessible. It is very close to the most notable thing in Mokra Gora - the train station. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The apartment is brand new and very clean. It is equipped with everything you need for a peaceful holiday.

The hosts and the cabin make for the perfect getaway. It was exactly what I hoped for when booking a cabin. I would definitely recommend getting a car, bringing some books and some nice warm clothing. There is plenty of hiking in the area and you are only 20 minutes away from the lake. A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking.

A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

For us this is the most beautiful place to stay in Mokra gora! The house is much more than it is shown on photos. In the kitchen you have everything you need, the terrace is great place to drink coffee or just watch the green grass in the property. You don't need to go anywhere- just stay in house and relax. The owner will help you with everything. And something which is very important for us- in "Mokrogorski konjaci" we felt like in home! Thanks for everything and hope to be there soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Selimir’s apartment with my boyfriend and mum. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Selimir was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect for exploring Mokra Gora, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Selimir’s place to anyone visiting the area

We had problem when crossing the border and only managed to check-in just after 11pm. We had to message the hotel via the booking.com’s messenger to contact the hotel. We were glad and relieved that the hotel replied within 15min. The view was beautiful. Very relaxing.
