City of Subotica has a long and rich history. It has a lot of monuments, beautiful building, a lot of nice streets for casual city stroll, beautiful restaurants and it's close to Palić. You can also visit Vinarija Zvonko Bogdan and if you previously booked wine tasting tour it can be a very pleasant experience. It is an interesting city with much green, beautiful buildings, rich cultural heritage. We were especially interested in the art nouveau buildings. Lots of the buildings can be seen from inside. The location is quiet, with 2 supermarkets nearby, but just a short walk to the centre. The hosts were great, spoke English and were very generous with what they leave in stock in the kitchen.
