FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

My stay in Singapore was more than just comfortable—it was inspiring. This city is a shining example of how a nation can combine speed, efficiency, and hospitality to create a remarkable travel experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by Singapore’s world-class infrastructure—smooth transport, modern facilities, and impeccable cleanliness everywhere. The fast-paced environment never feels chaotic; instead, it runs with precision and discipline. Culturally, Singapore is vibrant and inclusive, offering a blend of traditions, food, and festivals that make every day exciting. The financial hub energy is evident, showcasing why it’s a global business magnet. At the same time, its focus on education and innovation reflects a forward-looking society that other nations can learn from. My accommodation added to the experience with its excellent service, comfort, and easy access to all that Singapore offers. I highly recommend visiting Singapore—not just as a destination, but as a living example of what the future of cities can look like.

    We loved exploring Singapore.

We loved exploring Singapore. It is clean, safe and interesting! There is so much to see and do, lots and walking and exploring and loads of culture. The Gardens, Marina Bay Sands, tallest Micro Brewery, Raffles etc are tourist attractions that are worth a visit! The markets and temples are worth exploring, get lost down the little laneways and find some interesting treasures. Clarke Quay for a night out is a must do (we enjoyed many margaritas!) then catch the river boat for a beautiful trip around Marina Bay to end a fantastic evening.

Singapore is one of the most clean and beautiful country in the world. It is a garden in itself. It was remarkable that there were no overhead utility cables. However, it has gone very expensive for visitors. Immigration entry and exit were amonst the fastest in the world. We visited Santosa twice as it was of great experience. Exceptionally free travel over the island. Public bus was luxurious and payment can be made with credit or debit cards by visitors. A bit expensive though but I would classify it as value for money.

I think the room is small for its price and location, but it is the very few hotels in Singapore offering connecting room for family. The MRT and Jurong East Mall is a long walk from the hotel, about 10 minutes. The hotel is a standalone building in the area. The plus point is that it is near the Singapore Science Centre. It also provides shuttle bus service to Sentosa

The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to exit B at Bencoolen MRT station on the blue Downtown line. The room was a good size and quiet. We did not have breakfast but the hotel was good value considering the cost of hotels in Singapore.
