Great trails, both half-day or full day, from moderate to slightly challenging (especially for anyone with mobility issues). Skok waterfall trail is terrific. Jamske Pleso trail is flatter and less rough, but we did see a common viper on the trail and fresh bear poo! The trail around Strbske Pleso lake itself is very enjoyable and scenic. Furkotka restaurant (opposite Hotel Toliar) and Koliba Patria restaurant overlooking the lake we're terrific value and lovely food. Strbske pleso itself is too touristy and developed.
Strbske pleso itself is too touristy and developed. The real value of this location is all the hiking that's possible in the area. The nature here is stunning. An easy one hour hike will take you to another lake called Popradske pleso and a further 90 minute hike (a bit more difficult) from there will take you to the largest lake Velke Hincovo pleso. That area is beautiful. It looks like something from The Lord of the Rings. There is also a great restaurant in Strbske pleso called Furkotka with great food and service.Guest review byIvanSlovakia

In the complex there is a private parking. There is a common room with the possibility to prepare tea and coffee. My apartment had a fully equipped kitchenette, cosy and clean rooms and a bathroom. Across the road there is a public parking lot where there is also a ski bus stop directly to the Strbske pleso. The staff was kind and helpful, provided the background for the change of clothes even after the accommodation, for which I thank you very much.Guest review byVladimirSlovakia

The breakfast is excellent, varied, and delicious, with many local ingredients. There is a possibility to charge your e-car (20 Euro / night costs the garage, the chrged amount will not be measured.
