Amazing little apartman, not too far from the High Tatras - really great location, by car it was not more than 20 minutes. The apartman was clean, well equipped and super nicely maintained. The host are really nice, very flexible. Parking was free and super safe. We also used the private wellness two times and it was AMAZING. Breakfast was delivered to the door and it was abundant. I can only speak highly of this place and we will definitely be returning soon!

The location was great for a star trip. It was very close to all attractions in the high tatra and in slivakian paradise. There are restaurants, supermarket and cafe, in just 2 minutes of walking. The apartment was great and almost new with everything you need. Garden has toys for kids, BBQ. All the complex is almost new. Our apartment had a nice view to the high tatra. Also, the owner was very comunicative and helpful, and everything we needed, he just arranged it and helped with information. We will be back for sure !!!

You will never forget the view from the balcony. Just wonderful. Everything was perfect welcome bottle of wine and many other things to make our stay comfortable like coffee and tea. Wonderful bright clean rooms. I enjoyed making breakfast in the kitchen. And car parking in underground garage if you visit in winter you won't have to sweep snow off your car. The best private apartment I've stayed in out of many. 1A

Host is very kind, quick to react to our questions. We did not have to wait even a minute to him while checking in/out. Parking is very good, gate opens automatically. The place is incredibly clean and tidy, everything from the towels to the last shelf on the wall. Wooden furniture is very unique and creates a cozy atmosphere. They have everything needed in the kitchen: owen, microwave owen, roaster, kettle, dishes etc. Sofa in the living room is comfortable as a dream. They even made the whole place safe for little children. Wifi is fast, easy to connect. Warm water and heater works well.

    Velka Lomnica is a village bellow High Tatras mountains...

    Velka Lomnica is a village bellow High Tatras mountains ideal for stay when visiting the mountains. You can use your car to move around or you can use also local trains operating right to the touristic centers (Smokovec, Polianka, Tatranska Lomnica, Strbske Pleso and so on). In the village you have good options to buy food or to enjoy local gastronomy in restaurants. City of Poprad is just few minutes of driving or a short journey by train.

    The village is app 5 minutes drive from the High Tatras. Pleasant, quiet and very affordable. There are some local restaurants for catering, with good choice of menu. We have preferred during our stay the restaurant Salas Goralsky Dvor.

    It is a good starting point to discvoer to neighbourhood ( Tatranska Lomncia, Stary Smokovec, Strrbske Pleso). Vel'ka Lomnica is a small and quiet village, with few restaurants. The landsacpe is beautiful with mountains.

    Very nice old style hotel, a bit communist era and chintzy , but room was very large, clean, with three windows and views of the Tatras. Bathroom very good.Hot water excellent. I don't think had air-conditioning, but did not need it. Location in small village but only a few kms from main places. Was there in summer, so don't know about suitability for winter use. Buffet breakfast had lots of choice. Nice garden and enclosed carpark with area for some relaxed outdoor sitting.

    A fantastic find in Veľká Lomnica! This pension is highly recommended for its spotless cleanliness, delicious breakfast, and wonderfully friendly host who creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The only thing to note is that while it's a perfect peaceful base, you will need a car for easy access to the mountain trails and attractions. Ideal for travelers with their own transport seeking peaceful area and comfort.

    The location of the hotel is very good for people who are traveling by car. The breakfast is portioned but very good and plenty. The coffee is also good. You can see the mountains from your room and the cantine as well. The staff is very kind and helpful. The bed is big and comfortable, however it's made up two matraces in a common frame. Water heater, small fridge and hairdryer can be found in your room.
