The hotel has a very cozy and comfortable feel. The rooms are very comfortable - my room had a small but extremely comfortable single bed, good shower, nice balcony overlooking the street, and a good desk to get work done during the days. Internet was also more than fast enough to let me attend video calls and meetings and to get work done. The highlight was the staff - every worker I met was exceptionally kind, especially Rinesh who went above and beyond to make my stay amazing on several occasions. I only had the breakfast once but it was very good, highlighted by great jams, local juices and eggs!

I love this place! The location is perfect. In the middle of nature with the park/ jungle on one side and the river on the other side. Staff is super helpful and friendly and it’s easy to get around by taxi. It’s beautifully renovated and the food is amazing. Especially the traditional Surinamese dishes. What a great place. I’m returning very soon for sure!

Before I even got there they were very communicative and friendly, and organised an airport transfer for me. As soon as I arrived they gave me a delicious welcome juice, and my room was already nice and cold from the AC (much needed in the kind of heat they have here!) For the duration of my stay every member of staff was so friendly, chatting to me, giving me recommendations, and making me feel very welcome. The room was lovely and clean and well equipped, most importantly with a powerful AC and a decent sized fridge! The communal living/restaurant area downstairs was great to sit in, lots of choices of places to sit (including a hanging egg chair which was my personal favourite), with great WiFi. Also a good location near lots of shops and restaurants, and close to lots of the sights of Paramaribo. All for a much better price than the Marriott/Torarica resort/etc.

Breakfast was fantastic. Choices to choose from. Fruits and cakes were a plus. Room was large and comfortable. Location was quite good and walking to the Park and surrounding area felt safe.
