Interesting history.
Interesting history. Now its seems mainly a farming city with lovely surrounding farms and a nice river running through town. There is a large University in town. Plenty of good food, and some busy and fun pubs at night.Guest review byRickAustralia - 8.0

This was an overnight stop on a long journey so I didn't plan much in the way of tourism. However I visited the historical park, that was very interesting, and the nearby hot springs. Overall it was very quiet there; the tourist industry hasn't yet recovered from the COVID shutdown so some of the restaurants and hotels are still not open.Guest review byIan BREACHUnited Kingdom

Nice garden to sit in provided you don't go during this season, when it is way too hot to do anything outdoors. The owners/staff were friendly and accommodating. Good value for money though I've stayed at much nicer places in the country for the same price.
