If you are a fan of sunsets and are not an early riser (to catch the sunrise), you should be on the opposite coast instead of here. If you are, however, an early riser, the beach here is very nice and the sunrise is to be anticipated with each day bringing a new experience. The resort properties here are generally nice but beginning to show the inevitable decline of western facilities in a tropical setting. In the backyard of the villa, there was a sandy beach with palm trees and no tourists around. With not so many people it felt almost like a private experience. Waking up to the sound of ocean and birds. <3 Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, as well as lunch and dinner options.
