    One of the bonuses of staying at La Villa Bleue in Sidi Bou Saïd is that this gorgeous and charming village is much more tranquil when the day-trippers or those on a short stopover leave…Then you have some of the great photo spots all to yourself, maybe in the early morning or evening light as well.

    A beautiful touristy area. pricy but many restaurants and places to stay. Lots of souvenir stores with shop barkers extolling their wares. Its small enough to walk about most of the area. In the summer, it is very hot with little shade which can be strenuous for elderly, infirm people.

    A haven of blue tranquility and art with an other worldly feel. The people are friendly. We felt safe and never felt threatened in any way. The taxi system works wonderfully although some of the vehicles can do with a bit of maintenance. The food is delicious. The medina a thrilling experience. The colosseum a must visit together with the other ruins in Carthage. The harissa, art galleries, history and medinas made this a wonderful destination for stroll off the beaten track.

    Lovely old village, despite the occasional bus loads of tourists pouring in. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular and there are several public terraces where people congregate to watch and socialize. Great cafes to hang out at, but you have to look hard for good food. Getting around on foot is easy, but it’s recommended to hire a taxi to take you around the various Carthage sites.

    Beautiful views.

    Beautiful views. Villas Romaines and the Roman grounds is a must to visit as is the port. Only small downfall was that were wasn’t aware that we had to pay for parking everywhere and so the car got clamped and cost us 30 dinar…

    Jasmine House is perfectly located right in the center of Sidi Bou Saïd, close to all the main spots but still quiet and peaceful. The apartment is modern, clean, and well-equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available and full of great tips. I truly felt welcomed and at ease throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the charm of Sidi Bou Saïd with the comfort of a modern apartment!

    We had wonderful time at this stunning hotel. The location could not have been better -- right in the middle of Sidi Bou Said with everything in walking distance. We visited during Ramadan, so things were relatively quiet. The hotel staff (and especially Sofien!) and owner were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful - a wide range of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and were sad to leave! We'll certainly be back again.

    Dar Kbira is a serene and stunning escape from the bustling streets of Sidi Bou Saïd. The property has been renovated to a high and beautiful standard by Selima & her husband. The breakfast in particular was delicious, varied each day we stayed and could be enjoyed in the central courtyard or on the sunny terrace. The service was exemplary and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would love to come back :)

    A truly charming stay in the heart of Sidi Bou Said. Dar Zahra offers the perfect blend of authenticity and comfort. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and full of character. The location is ideal just a short walk from the main attractions, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back!
