EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT AND THE VIEWS WERE AMAZING. THE PROPERTY IS SO QUIET AND PEACEFUL. THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT AND THE SMELL OF THE JASMINE TREE IN THE CENTER HALLWAY WAS INCREDIBLE. I WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK.

Wonderful place, quiet, comfortable, amazing rooms - we were given an upgrade to the wonderful ottoman room which was super, featuring a little terrace with a sea view. Staff are incredibly nice and kind, breakfast is very good, everything is sparkling clean and bed was extremely comfortbale. Definitely a place to go back to!

Fantastic host, responsive, good instructions and tips, sociable. He had even prepared some food for us. The house is obviously "an active" house, people actually live there, which means it has everything you need. Location cannot be beaten.

Maison Dedine is more than a hotel or a simple accommodation. Staying here is a real luxurious experience that you do not get elsewhere in Tunisia. The staff is extremely nice and professional but, at the same time, lets you enjoy your experience in serenity. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with traditional Tunisian dishes made with so much love and delicacy. We will definitely come back.

    One of the bonuses of staying at La Villa Bleue in Sidi Bou Saïd is that this gorgeous and charming village is much more tranquil when the day-trippers or those on a short stopover leave…Then you have some of the great photo spots all to yourself, maybe in the early morning or evening light as well.

    A beautiful touristy area. pricy but many restaurants and places to stay. Lots of souvenir stores with shop barkers extolling their wares. Its small enough to walk about most of the area. In the summer, it is very hot with little shade which can be strenuous for elderly, infirm people.

    A haven of blue tranquility and art with an other worldly feel. The people are friendly. We felt safe and never felt threatened in any way. The taxi system works wonderfully although some of the vehicles can do with a bit of maintenance. The food is delicious. The medina a thrilling experience. The colosseum a must visit together with the other ruins in Carthage. The harissa, art galleries, history and medinas made this a wonderful destination for stroll off the beaten track.

    Lovely old village, despite the occasional bus loads of tourists pouring in. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular and there are several public terraces where people congregate to watch and socialize. Great cafes to hang out at, but you have to look hard for good food. Getting around on foot is easy, but it’s recommended to hire a taxi to take you around the various Carthage sites.

    Beautiful views.

    Beautiful views. Villas Romaines and the Roman grounds is a must to visit as is the port. Only small downfall was that were wasn’t aware that we had to pay for parking everywhere and so the car got clamped and cost us 30 dinar…

    The communication with Youssef was excellent. He gave many helpful tips and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. He also provided some great basic food products (bread, eggs, yogurt, cheese etc) which was much appreciated. The appartment is very nicely furnished and decorated and has everything you need. The location was great, walking distance from everything Sidi Bou Said has to offer and the wifi worked very well.

The house was perfectly decorated in a way that reflects the Tunisian design and traditions , had all the facilities and 2min walking from the Sidi bou Said town , with a variety of restaurants and supermarkets nearby , Imed was extremely friendly and welcoming and will help when needed , he also provided us with a secure parking for the car right next to the house. This place is a MUST DO once in Tunisia

The welcome from the staff was next-level: generous, helpful, kind, and fun. The building is beautiful, old and interesting. Very clean. We used the kitchen and terraces. It’s a walk to the town and souks.
