Nice town with a lot of history. Good shopping area with lower prices that you may find in a tourist cities like Antalya or Bodrum. A BEAUTIFUL CITY WITH A VERY YOUNG PEOPLE AND A GOOD NIGHTLIFE. IDEAL FOR DAY-LONG HOLIDAYS. VERY CLOSE TO TWO BEAUTIFUL ISLANDS, TENEDOS AND IMBROS, AND WITH VERY GOOD BEACHES. A nice city, especially for a trip break. There is an army museum which is worth visiting. A little expensive but will worth. Restaurants, caffes, bars and ice-cream all are great. We drove to the city center and took pictures of the Trogan horse used in the movie of Troy. There are restaurants and pastry shops all along the waterfront. It's a great place for dinner and an evening stroll. We only walked along water front so I'm not able to comment on the rest of the city.Guest review byNormaUnited States

We stayed for 9 days off season half board, and the dinners are more like Turkish feasts, 5 course dinners of delicious food. The location of the hotel is great for exploring the area- we went to Troia, Canakkale, Gallipolli and the countryside villages, everywhere people were harvesting olives (end of October). He will arrive and show you your room. The rooms are small, but new, clean, and better value for money than any other in Canakkale.
