Manisa is a small and cozy town surrounded by mountains, otherwise known as the "City of Princes" (Şehzadeler Şehir) because the children of the Ottoman sultans used to study here before taking the throne. It is worth visiting the old city and taking strolls through its magnificent parks. Make sure to visit Şehzadeler Park or "Princes' Park" to see the building miniatures and the heroes' figurines from the park's museum and its backyard. The most beautiful buildings in Manisa are by far it's mosques!
