Plenty to do in Penghu and round Magong if you have a scooter. Otherwise there is little public transportation. Fireworks from April to June a highlight. The hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport. We wanted to rent an electric scooter to explore Peng Hu, and the hotel staff kindly linked us up with a vendor. The room is also well equipped with amenities. The bed was very very comfortable too. There is a gym, eating area at lobby, with microwave and coffee machine. The room is an OK size for one person and it's fairly clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff doesn't really speak english but they're very kind and will do their best to help you with whatever you need. They also provide free shuttle from and to the airport, which is very useful. The house lady and her husband are very kind, they have been very helpful to organize our trip back by ferry, and have dropped us at the harbor.
