The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.Guest review byJudith1287United Kingdom

The staff, from the front desk to management, were all incredibly friendly. We arrived quite late, and unfortunately, the hotel was unable to locate our booking, which was frustrating. However, the manager (mahommed) assured us that this issue would be resolved. He made us feel very comfortable and even upgraded our room to one with a sea view, which made our stay at the resort extra special. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owners assisted a lot with our queries and Zac, the massai waiter was entertaining and informative. The cabins are very basic with cold salt water showers and bushbabies scratching the walls in the evening. The village is within easy walk either across the beach when tide is out or down the muddy lanes. Villagers very friendly. It is located next to the beautiful white beach. The staff were impeccable. They were both kind and professional. Chef Amr is a great star chef. His warmth and love towards his guest can be tasted in his cooking. The management was dedicated to ensuring we were comfortable. The place was very clean. We enjoyed the game nights as well.
