The climate is Mbeya is excellent cool and you can start hikes to the near mountains. The distance to Kitulo NP is not far and can be reached in less than 2 hours. Mbeya is actually a normal city with lively people and neighbourhoods. you can get pretty much everything you really want from around you. Its more of a faming community in the tropical areas of Tanzania.
