We had a wonderful experience at this hotel located directly on the white and fine sand beach, very close (10 minutes walk on the beach) to a symbol of Zanzibar, The Rock restaurant. The location is perfect for those who want total relaxation and quick access to the turquoise water of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help us, always with a smile on their faces. The food was delicious and varied, with options to satisfy all tastes. The room was cleaned daily, and everything was always impeccable. The superb view of the Indian Ocean completes this unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a dream vacation!

Exceptional place to stay. The facilities - swimming pool, bar and restaurant were all first class. Food was delicious. Best of all was the wonderful welcome and hospitality shown by the fantastic owners Petra and Thomas. This beautiful seaside hotel is set on a large area with only 15 villas, making it a peaceful and quiet place to stay. The beach is amazing, calm, clean, and perfect for relaxation. Even though the tides change throughout the day, the sea is always beautiful, and walking along the long shoreline is a great experience.     Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. Greetings Paula& Johannes from The Netherlands . We are looking forward to come back again .

    the welcoming commetee was amazing. They made us feel at home. Checking in was a breeze and the pool bar staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the music by the pool area,it was inclusive to all nations. Tha food was amazing the whole experience was great. I was there to celebrate my birthday and they made it extra special. From the decoration in my room,to the suprise cake and singing.i had a good time. The rock resturant is less than 5min away, we wemt there using the free bicycle offered at the hotel.

    This is the perfect hotel for anyone looking for a quiet beach get away. The staff was amazing, the location is beautiful, right on the beach! The rooms are very spacious with great views, accurate to the pictures on there website. The food is good, the pool is great and they have a very affordable spa. The beach in front is a beautiful white sand beach with a insane view of the sunset! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Zanzibar!

    by walking distance you could reach Kae Funk, which is lovely place, with party, and amazing sunset view. Is right place for whom are interested for The Rock, by taxi it takes aprox. 25 min, the same to Paje beach. Michamwi is calm and full of nature. Unfortunately the ocean is full of seeweeds and is not pleasant to swim here.

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful blue ocean as far as the eye can see. It's also quiet and very tranquil. We enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach with little to no interruptions from beach boys of sellers.

    Everything was perfect! The accommodation was natural, the staff was professional, kind and fast with their tasks. The beach was so beautiful, white sand, blue water. The manager Gillian was very welcoming from start to finish. I normally wouldn’t revisit the same hotels just to experience other hotels but this one is an exception, I will definitely book this place again if I revisit Zanzibar. Beach right below the accommodation, both for swimming and walking. Kindness and help from Anna and Mohamed in organizing island exploration and activities. We recommend a visit.     An excellent quiet place close to the beach with a lot of outdoor space to relax and enjoy your stay. The helpful and friendly staff made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The breakfast in an adjacent restaurant delicious and plentiful, especially the pancakes. I would definitely recommend Karanga Bungalows to anyone who comes to Michamvi Kae and is not looking for a big, busy resort, but for a pleasant, laid-back retreat.

    Second time at Horizon Michamvi and everything was good again. I love the amazing location with the sunset and staff isalways very helpful. Room was very clean. There is a close hotel just there but Horizon is much better as the take care about you from the check in. Thank you again
