Great bungalows. Very clean, air conditioning and fans worked flawlessly. In the room African decor, there were even bathrobes. Very friendly and helpful owner, who was constantly helping. He was always on site and made sure the guests were happy. delicious breakfasts, different every day. Great location - 2 minutes from the beach. Nice, well-maintained swimming pool. VERY VERY VERY VERY RECOMMENDED

Amazing resort with a stunning view to the ocean and private pool and so peaceful. The staff all of them but especially Godfrey were very kind to us. The accommodation always provided a private cab, when we needed one. The food in the restaurant was good but not great. I want to say thank you to all the staff for the amazing hospitality and great vacation, definitely coming back.

The hotel is really beautiful. It is brand new (they opened in December 24), so everything in the rooms works and is new as well. The hotel is a bit away from the busy tourist center (about 15 min walk on the beach) but there are nice bars and restaurants in the area as well. Every night kids come out to play soccer on the beach and with the lights it‘s just magical. The team is so kind, we were very happy to stay here! Prices are fair as well, the fish is always fresh (you can see the fisherman bringing it every morning) and the team can help you with everything. We would love to stay here again.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and all rooms are looking out onto the pool area. The breakfast/lunch was delicious with plenty of options, and the hotel’s location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and local shops. I also enjoyed the pool area, which were great for relaxing as it is very quiet due to it being a smaller hotel. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be staying here again.

The zanzicrow is a beautiful and cozy hotel in Nungwi. The hotel is very close to the beach (you can see it) and to many restaurants. The room is big, clean and organized. We got a bedroom with ventilator, air conditioning and mini-bar, everything working properly. The rooftop is the icing on the cake. Elena, Nasser, Omar and the staff are very kind and proactive. We loved the breakfast and in particular the handmade cakes.

    Many restaurants and beach bars , next to Badolina Bungalows . Good prices and good food at Baraka restaurant and Nanasi restaurant. And , also , at Zava restaurant. For excursions I recommend Yussufu , very nice guy and good prices .

    Truly enjoyed the pristine beach and the laid back nature of the place. Totally enjoyed several meals at Fish Restaurant which were absolutely delicious. I tried Kingfish, Changu, Perch, White Snapper, Prawns etc. The seafood was phenomenal. We also enjoyed seeing the turtles and the artwork at several curio shops. Also enjoyed an early morning boat ride seeing the dolphins. I can't believe how fast time went by. Looking forward to visiting Zanzibar again.

    Omg there is so much to do in Nungwi, when you have the right agent to take you around the sceneries , the people , all was worth it . Nungwi is just what you hear and see in pictures there is no exaggerations.

    It is the farthest tip of the island...about 1:20 taxi drive...

    It is the farthest tip of the island...about 1:20 taxi drive. Next time, I would stay on the blower east side where there are villages and hotels. But for first time Nungwi was lively offering many activities.

    The staff are exceptional.

    The staff are exceptional. They are intentional about hospitality, constantly checking if everything is okay and responding instantly to any requests I had. Honestly, just for the staff alone, it’s worth a visit. Their smiles are so welcoming, especially combined with the lovely garden space.

    The resort was amazing and looked after to perfection.

    The resort was amazing and looked after to perfection. Nothing was to much trouble and absolutely everything was provided for. The beach was very safe and clean and the ocean clear and warm. Plenty of water sport activities to choose from and of course security around but not over facing. Perfection. The romantic dinner on the last evening was stunning, but all of the restaurants were excellent with great choices.

    Beautiful, relaxing and serene, perfect place to unwind. Really lovely staff, special shout out to 'the hulk' who does the loungers on the beach, he really went out of his way for everyone. Loved the swings and the gardens! Near a really lovely beach, one of the best beaches we saw in zanzibar. Great breakfast selection with fresh juice Overall we really enjoyed our stay although there were a few things listed below..

    Light of Zanzibar is a 2 min walk to the beach. The staff were super friendly and kind and went out of their way to welcome us. The rooms are not big but the bed is very comfortable and the WiFi worked well on our ground floor room. The breakfast was filling and better than many other hotels in Nungwi. We had a great time at the hotel and will definitely be back if we come back to Nungwi
