We had the most pleasant stay at the Escarpment Camp. The whole team is really polite, helpful and had some sweet surprises for us. Besides that everyone speaks a really good English, inviting us to ask a lot about Tanzanian culture and life. Special thanks to Upendo, who took care of us. The room was exceptional equipped and very clean, not to compare with a regular tented camp. We stayed two separate nights - one in the regular room and one in the VIP-Room, which is slightly bigger, with an outside shower and small pool. Since the camp is erected in March 2024, everything was brand new. The food was fantastic, with a great variety, excellent quality and freshly cooked. The dining room offers a stunning view in the nature with zebras coming along at breakfast time. All in all we would definitely book it again and can recommend the camp to everyone looking for a special retreat after a long day of safari.

Really well kept and comfortable place! Love how open it is and the proximity of animals whilst also feeling safe. Food was incredible everyday and the staff were so friendly and accommodating it really made the trip feel special. I loved everything about this camp. Love how much detail was paid to every details. The restaurant tent was comfortable and friendly. The food was great. The communal tent was absolutely cozy and a great place to play games or read a book or just sit outside and watch nature in front of you. The tents were very comfortable. The shower and running water was exceptional.
