Poltava is a medium-sized city.
Poltava is a medium-sized city. It doesn't boast incredible architecture, fascinating buildings or unbelievable food. I ended up here by pure chance, but it turned out to be a pleasant one. The people here are very hospitable and kind. There are places with great food, there are cinemas and a couple of museums. But I don't see the point of staying longer than 3-4 days. Whether I would come back here again just for tourism is unlikely. Poltava is more valuable to me because of its historical significance, but no more. Everything was perfect, the location, the accommodation, the restaurant, the staff. I can't wait until I can visit again. I want to especially mention the waitress who looked after me in the restaurant, Oleksandra is a real credit to this hotel/restaurant.
