Close to hiking and places like Jim Thorpe.

Close to hiking and places like Jim Thorpe. There's not a ton happening in the town itself but you've got a few pizza places, a Dollar General, and a beer store. Great way to get away but still have a few things you might want.

    Very dirty dirty dirty dirty.

Very dirty dirty dirty dirty. I ve never seen a rent house this dirty Please look at the pictures before you decide to rent this property. The house has a stench that is due to the humidity because it has no Ac. Bed linens has bad smells and pillows are very old and heavily stained. Towels are smelly .. we had to wash them before using them. The wash machine is very dirty so is the dryer. The garbage pail is very dirty. Under the sink was filthy.. in one word, disgustingly dirty, not a rentable house.

Albrightsville is a very small village about 20 minutes away from the property. However it is close to many attractions such as Hickory Run State Park, Jim Thorpe, Pocono Raceway and Big Boulder. Brodheadsville is a short drive for grocery shopping. Not much I don't like of the area so no negative feedback.

Plenty of deer that walk around the property 4-7 at a time...

Plenty of deer that walk around the property 4-7 at a time all day long. This is their natural habitant and it shows. Beautiful wooded areas and close to Wilkes Barre if you want an afternoon of shopping and dining (post pandemic of course), but the restaurants are open you indoor dining if that’s your choice. Overall great getaway.
