Super cool location, spacious well appointed rooms, comfy beds, they think of all the little things: rolls Royce to drive you to and from Town, wine reception, warm cookies at night, binoculars in room, fishy candy, robes, workout room, breakfast included! Amazing bistro walking distance! You cannot go wrong with this place!

This hotel has such great soul and style! Located in the heart of Astoria, it is surrounded by lots of great pubs, shops, and life. If you arrive on a Sunday, check out the street event a few blocks away with tons of local businesses set up. I didn't realize it was there until too late. (Next time!) The hotel is old school, which I love. There are historic elements preserved, spiced up with modern style as well. Be prepared to walk up stairs to get from the street to reception. In my case, I had a "cabin room" with showers and toilets down the hall, though there is a sink in the room. The bed was comfy beyond expectations and the room was light, even though it was an interior one. I had picked Astoria randomly as a town on the map, while returning to Canada up the coast from a business trip in California, but realizing I would have to hole-up for a day to get some work done by deadline. I loved the place so much: I plan to return with my fella! Staff were also friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I really didn't want to leave.

Unfortunately, coming in late October, in a driving rain and wind storm, we couldn't enjoy all that Astoria had to offer. We did enjoy all the small shops in the market area, but the place has so much to do, for everyone. Definitely needed more time to explore all the adventures this place has to offer.

Astoria is a unique town in a unique location.

Astoria is a unique town in a unique location. I love the architecture of many of the homes in Astoria and the way they are arrayed along hilly streets. The town is fairly compact so attractions are never a long drive away. Ships coming in from the sea to go up the Columbia river or returning to the sea lend interest as you drive or walk around the city. Astoria remains one of my favorite cities in the Pacific Northwest!

Astoria is a fun place!

Astoria is a fun place! My husband and I loved the Maritime museum and the fun shops. We had a delicious lunch at MO’s and an amazing dinner at the Silver Salmon Grill. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit any of the art galleries. We will return.

We loved the Maritime Museum and the fact that you could leave, go do something else, and then come back before they closed. We loved the walkability by the water and really enjoyed the scenery. We met a nice couple, who were volunteers, at the Finnish display by the Maritime Museum. They were very friendly and informative. Our trip was short so we definitely will be back.

The beautiful scenery, I love water views the ocean, rivers lakes etc . We had views from all the windows in our hotel. The many good eating places. The light houses close by. The friendly people. Etc. We stayed at the Lloyd Hotel Bayfront. It was great , the breakfast the staff, the bed and pillows and the complimentary smoked chowder was really good too.

Very interesting robust down town with lots to do....

Very interesting robust down town with lots to do.... Overall less of a tourist trap than Cannon Beach and Seaside. Lots of dining options and places to shop. Close enough to easily get to Fort Stevens, parks, & hiking

The location was fantastic, great parking and easy walking distance to beautiful Astoria and all it has to offer. Our room was small but modern and comfortable. There was no coffee in the room, but there was a really well stocked kitchen with coffee and cooking facilities. There was also a lounge area where we were able to work and the WiFi was great.

Hotel location is great. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view from our room. Breakfast was very nice and it varied each morning which is a plus. Staff was constantly making sure nothing ran out. Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful, as was the desk staff. We'll definitely be back!
