    Bob's Grill has good food ... only open til 2 PM, so hurry! The Top of Oklahoma Museum is quite interesting ... the volunteer host really helped us to understand the history of this town ... from 25, 000 population to today's 7,000. Great exhibits. Hotels along I-35 have good food available nearby. You can do a lot of stuff within a 10-mile radius, though the town doesn't have a great lot of attractions.

    Went to Blackwell for Homecoming and Birthday weekend with family and friends. Town is having economic issues but the people as always are friendly. Lots of Rural Americana and history to see in the local area

    Breakfast was great! The location is quiet. Several food services nearby. The desk clerk was friendly and patiently worked through a computer glitch. She promised cookies, handed us water, and told us there was more if we needed it. The bathroom was quite nice. tub seemed new. Temperature of room stayed very comfortable. The town of Blackwell had good food, a cool museum, interesting stop on our journey.
