We were close to a large variety of restaurants that we could walk to and we chose a Mexican restaurant that was just a couple of blocks from the hotel. OK, now that I've been there...Cape Coral seems to be just a suburb of Ft. Myers, with most of the stuff you want to do in Ft. Myers. Or in other words, Cape Coral is a nice place to sleep after spending the day doing touristy things in Ft. Myers. Come to find out this area used to be called just "the other side" as it was leftover land from the build-up of Ft. Myers. When you look at it that way, Cape Coral makes sense. I would not go to Cape Coral for vacation. I went there to visit family that had re-located there. I think it might be a nice place to live. After easily checking in, I went to the pool area for sunshine. Having the Tiki Bar and Grill next to the hotel was wonderful. It had a relaxed resort feel to it. Very easy to relax onsite with food and beverages right there. I would also like to compliment the staff. I interacted with 4 different people, and all were friendly and very helpful.
