Breakfast should definitely be available here even if at additional cost and the pool needs to hurry up and open but everything else is on point. Staff is smiling, friendly, and helpful. This place is kept very clean and smells fresh on a regular. Excellent lobby for visiting purposes. The Doorman "B" is a nice respectful man whom is dedicated to keeping the Kiteville community safe at all hours. Emo is a "fireball" in a sense that He works his butt off day in and day out! He is always wearing a smile, lots of sarcasm, jokes, dog play, and he actually is a sincere individual that cares about his guests. The only good thing was the gentleman who checked me in. Otherwise, the place was dirty, the breakfast (while included for free, so should I really be upset?) was rotten. Literally, rotten eggs. I had to spit them out. They were hard boiled and in the refrigerator, but somehow rotten. Market after dark was fun. 15 blocks of vendors food and others. We went through Czech village shops, lots of restaurants there and downtown. We didn't visit, but the Czech museum is here too. We visited the Amana colonies, went through all the shops there in main Amana, had the family style dining at the Oxe Yolk inn which is delicious and very neat. Riverside casino is 30 minutes away, and it is very nice and fun, free concerts there. Cedar Rapids is a bike friendly town, you can rent bikes or scooters downtown. They have class A professional baseball, indoor arena football, and professional ice hockey. there is a neat museum downtown with works by Grant Wood among others. I was just passing through on my way to Chicago from Rapid City. It was the perfect pit stop as I arrived late and would have been a shame to spend a lot of money to stay in Chicago.
