Cold Spring, NY is easily accessible from NYC via the Metro North train. It's a nice, peaceful getaway, where you can go hiking; shopping in the cute shops; eating at one of the many restaurants; enjoying the beautiful view of the Palisades; or seeing the many beautiful gardens in town. I loved the view of the river at the end of Overlook Trail in Little Stony Point. Make sure to wear bug spray while hiking!Guest review bySandraUnited States
