The town of Delta does not offer much for tourists in the way of shops or eateries, and lodging options are not good. This is a quiet residential town and Confluence Park is beautiful and peaceful for residents. I stayed here to visit my friend. If I did not have a friend here, I would not stay in Delta as a tourist.

Delta is a small quit town nicely situated between many different attractions for the area. The black canyon and the old west town museum in montrose are close and make for an easy day trip. The dinosaur museum along with the Colorado national park in Fruita also make for a close and easy day trip. Downtown Grand Junction on Main Street offers some very nice leisurely strolls day or night with inviting shops and eateries. Depending on the time of year you visit, there is plenty of places to get fresh picked Olathe Sweet Corn. Then there is always the greasy peaches, cherries and vineyards in Palisade.

Having a fenced in patio with a grassy area for our dog. There was plenty of room for us and our dog in the room without bumping into each other. Location-wise it was perfect for the daily activities we planned including The Grand Mesa and the Colorado National Monument. Loved walking our dog at night along the river in the area that was part of the property. Felt safe and peaceful.
I didn't stay at this property because they called and transferred me to a different property because apparently this one was overbooked (it clearly wasn't). I arrived around 10pm and could not get my key, we had to visit this property to get the key for the new property. It was a mess. But the room was ok (we stayed at Days Inn which apparently is the same owner.)
