The staff was very friendly and engaging. It was my birthday and they helped me celebrate with a card signed by the staff and breakfast and some delicious chocolate candy..The entire week was great. The facility was clean, quiet has a great location to nearby shopping and the interstate.

We went for breakfast and was told they were not serving from the menu. The waiter told me to go get a coupon because we were there for my granddaughters volleyball tournament. The lady at the desk said I would have had to request at booking. I didn't understand that. I went back to the table and he said we could order off of the menu. I thought the buffet was very over priced. However we ate dinner in the restaurant the night before. Very good and not too pricey.

After a long flight from Dublin we were keen to have a comfortable room and bed - which the hotel amply provided. It seems a good, solid hotel that's been around a while. Would be amazing for plane spotters with a view from our window straight across to the end of the main SFO runway - and yet there was no noise! There are a number of restaurants nearby for an evening meal but nothing in the hotel. The breakfast was great though - loved the waffle machine! Nice walk by the water of the bay in the evening and morning. Appreciated the shuttle bus to/from SFO.

Loved everything about the Hotel. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Staff was courteous and very nice. The room was really comfortable, clean and homey. Fantastic! Loved my stay! Was genuinely sad to leave on my last day, which is something rare.

    This hotel was selected from a list generated based on the destination I was planning, Half moon Bay. Since there were no available bookings in half moon bay, I chose Foster City as the next best location. I was very impressed with the hotel, area around it and the city as a whole. It was very clean, friendly and we felt safe. The hotel was a swift drive (approximately 14 miles) to the beach we planned on attending during our stay. I was celebrating my best friends birthday, and we dined at Kincaid's Bayhouse. Restaurant was cozy and right on the water. (Make reservations, especially on weekends) Delicious food, a bit pricey considering I've had similar at larger chain restaurants, for half the price. We had appetizers (brie platter was delicious!), drinks (although their blender was broken so my mother could not get her first choice), entrées & dessert (crème Brule was amazing!). The McDonalds was open (24/7) for our late night French fry cravings, and Armadillo Willy's BBQ was a great stop for delicious smoked foods. (The BBQ French fry's were awesome!) One of us chose a burger, I had tri-tip and two others in my party had ribs, and was I jealous! They were fall off the bone and looked wonderful. Over all based on the two nights and three days we spent there, it was easy to see that this will be a place I will head to for a quick get away (less than a two hour drive from the Sacramento area) when I am looking for a place that has great food, close to beaches, nice clean hotels and streets. I will be visiting again soon!

    My stay was very comfortable.

    My stay was very comfortable. Staff was very informative and welcoming of any questions or concerns you may have. Overall the hotel is very nice. Can't wait to go again and visit the nightclub at his full capacity and see the remodeled pool.

    Foster City, for those who don’t know, is primarily a...

    Foster City, for those who don’t know, is primarily a bedroom community, although there are enough restaurants to satisfy a traveler if one looks around. One of it’s strengths tho is it’s central location on the peninsula, so going north or south to other destinations is easily done. Also if you like to walk or you have a bike the bay trail along the bay (of course) is a wonderful place to get your exercise.

    My husband and I were told that since we used this app to purchase the room, our card was declined and could not continue the transaction. My card was declined 2 times although I paid the room moments before. I was very distressed. My husband and I stayed at a different place. So, I paid twice: once for a room I was unable to use and second for the room at a different hotel. Very Disappointed.
