    Lots of good restaurants in the Grand Junction area, good...

    Lots of good restaurants in the Grand Junction area, good book stores, and a sweet gift shop called Rebel Treasures with unique items and a very nice owner right next to the Goat and Clover Tavern. ebiking was great--paved paths right off Las Colonias park area. Gmaps said it was closed Labor Day but we didn't find any closures. Palisade is nearby, where we rode in the streets, picked our own peaches, tasted some wine. Always love stopping at Restoration Vineyards for wine, fun, and food. We hit a few ice cream spots, Third Bowl Homemade Ice cream has some unique flavors and really friendly personnel. Graff Dairy is fun. Palisade had The Milky Way, really friendly and very good gelato. The Pie Shop in Palisade has marvelous pies, hand pies, full size pies, etc.--so many choices and changing all the time. The Grand Mesa is nearby, a nice drive through the forest with a lot of lakes. Overall, Grand Junction/Palisade area has a lot of things to do for the young and older (we're older) generations.

    Grand Junction has lots of outdoor activities.

    Grand Junction has lots of outdoor activities. Hiking - either the National Monument Mesas or along the Colorado River. Fishing along the river, mountain drives up to Grand Mesa, and exploring great little towns - Palisades which has one of the best Sunday Farmers Markets in the US. Peach Season (Mid Aug Mid Sept) is awesome. Also check out the rodeo in Fruita - every Tuesday night! Found several wineries worth revisiting (Carboy for one)

    The Farmer's market on Sunday in Palisade. Colorado National Monument is a must see for everyone worth 3 hours out of your day. Tocoparty restaurant great place to eat and the folks of Grand Junction are helpful and friendly.

    Grand Junction is another wonderful Colorado town with its...

    Grand Junction is another wonderful Colorado town with its own separate history. Lots of trees, lots of architecture, and a community pride in their Main Street. An easily walkable, safe winding old town city street with family shops and special art displays. There are 4 major hotels near the convention center and downtown and any one of them are very desirable to stay. I stayed at the Marriot Springhill Suites and just the breakfast alone was worth it.

    Grand Junction, this is not a location town.

    Grand Junction, this is not a location town. People super unfriendly, businesses unprofessional. I was there working with a nonprofit, as a fly on a wall. I observed the pro-Trump workers first hand. The whole town is Pro Trump, not a lot of diversity which is sad. Love all the places in Colorado, except this place. Grand Junction, Sorry I would drive, extra hours to avoid your racist and unfriendly approach to human life.

    Grand Junction has that small town feel in a big city.

    Grand Junction has that small town feel in a big city. Offers everything a big city does. Friendly people and a absolutely gorgeous, beautiful area. Very scenic there and all the communities around there within miles. The population is perfect. I'm sure there's much more it offers than I have listed but I'm a fine artist so the "sightseeing" was plenty enough for me. I love it!

    very bad service, we arrived around dawn and when we were going to go to sleep we realized that the beds had blood, in addition they tried to charge me without my authorization, after I left the place they tried to deduct money from my card, be very careful with this very dirty hotel.

    Though the hotel seems a bit dated, esp the bath room area, the room is clean, and the bed comfy, friendly staff, these are the major credits for a brief night's stay. Clarion features a nice atrium and other amenities like fitness room, pools, etc. Free breakfast is a plus.

    Well appointed as is the usual La Quinta experience. Very comfortable beds, very clean, all fine. I assume it was an older hotel that was updated recently as it had one of those toilets that flush like Niagara falls. I really liked tje breakfast too.
